• I’m gonna be real, the Boo Fest was not an enjoyable event at all. There were multiple repeats of the same vendor, not enough variety, food was okay, and half of the vendors didn’t have candy or ran out within the first hour. The event is advertised as a trick or treating event with shopping and all we got was the same selection of shopping (like four lemonade stands???) and hardly any candy. I understand not passing out handfuls but half of the vendors not bringing candy didn’t help. Normal everyday people are more prepared on Halloween than the vendors who are making $$$. I don’t understand how some of them are expected to get really good business at an Event like this but not have a good stock of candy to make the event worth it? On top of some vendors probably not making their money back on their rental because there’s 4 of the same booth selling the same thing. I felt bad for them. The bathroom situation was worse. All of those people. You have kids, parents, pregnant women, and only 3 stalls per gender. For such a large event there should have been better bathroom arrangements. It was completely underwhelming and I know my family won’t be returning. I hope whoever put it together sees this and makes changes for a better experience.
